Photography

Since opening my shop I have constantly been working on improving my pictures. They are getting better all the time, but they are still not to the point that I want them to be. Today I found a blog with wonderful tips. I'm hoping to try them out later today or tomorrow and see how it goes.  Here is her picture (also a link to her blog):

  1. I have been considering making a light box. All you need is a cardboard box and you cut away the sides (just leaving the corner edges as support struts) and cover with white paper. You put it next to a window, put you lovely things inside and poke your camera through the gap and away you go!! I saw a tutorial about it on another blog and vowed to give it a go!!

Pictures are probably the hardest thing about having an online shop. When I first started my pictures were awful and it took FOREVER to get them the way I like it. My secret? taking most pictures near natural light. Thanks for the link. I'll definitely check it out.
